Public Voice and local Healthwatch organisations held a Westminster drop-in session, urging MPs and peers to protect independent patient and public voice.

On Monday 7 July 2025, Sharon Grant, former Public Voice and Healthwatch Haringey Chair, had a letter published in The Guardian where she provided opinion on the recent news that Healthwatch England will be abolished as part of the Government's 10 Year Health Plan for the NHS.

The May meeting of the VCS Forum, organised by @HaringeyCollab, focused on digital inclusion and technology, highlighting the importance of equitable access to digital tools and skills.

Over the past weekend (28/29 June), media coverage in the BBC and other outlets announced a number of health-related agencies are being closed down – including Healthwatch. These proposals come from the yet-to-be-published Dash Review, and form part of the government’s wider 10-Year Health Plan.
