On 30th March 2025, Public Voice CEO Dan Rogers spoke at an event where Haringey’s public services and community organisations gathered at George Meehan House in Haringey to officially launch ‘Haringey 2035’, a shared vision for the borough over the next decade.

This vision outlines how the council will collaborate with partners, residents, and Haringey’s vibrant voluntary and community sector to create a borough where everyone can belong and thrive.

Haringey 2035 introduces six ‘Calls to Action’ for the community to work towards over the next 10 years:

  • Ensuring safe and affordable housing.
  • Fostering thriving places.
  • Supporting the experiences and skills of children and young people.
  • Enhancing safety.
  • Addressing health and wellbeing inequalities.
  • Promoting greener choices.

Dan Rogers, CEO of Public Voice, was present at the event, speaking to attendees about how the Voluntary and Community Sector can help bring the Council’s vision to fruition. Public Voice is a key contributor in the shaping of the Council’s vision for the future.

"I am really pleased to be here today for the launch of the borough's vision. For the voluntary and community sector it's really important that we have a say, and we're really pleased that this vision has been co-produced with the sector. For us now it's about working with Haringey Council, the North Central London Integrated Care Board and with other organisations to try to take aspects of the vision forward and think about the practical role that the vibrant voluntary sector in Haringey can play, which is something we are looking forward to doing together."

The event provided attendees with the opportunity to discuss collaborative solutions to the borough’s challenges and explore how various services and organisations can work together to address the key themes of the vision.

The event concluded with participants writing ‘postcards from the future’, envisioning how collective efforts can improve life for Haringey’s communities over the next decade.
