The Joint Partnership Board was set up in 2017 to ensure that vulnerable groups in Haringey have a voice in the way NHS services and social care are provided for them. The Board meets every two months, and membership is by nomination from one of the Reference Groups.
Public Voice was commissioned by Haringey Council to establish and support the running of the Joint Partnership Board and its Reference Groups.
Reference Groups
The Joint Partnership Board consists of eight independent Reference Groups formed of NHS and Adult Social Care service users from a wide range of services in Haringey. The Reference Groups represent the interests of specific user groups to ensure their voices are heard and their particular needs and aspirations are taken into account.
There are a number of Reference Groups representing specific groups of people:
- Autism
- Older People
- Physical Disability
- Dementia
- Severe and Complex Learning Disability and Autism
- Carers
