Our leadership team
Dan Rogers
Dan Rogers
Dan has worked in strategy, operations management and business development, throughout a career which has spanned roles in publishing, research, and consultancy. He brings experience of engaging industry, government, and grant funding clients, in order to scale businesses and deliver social impact. Dan joined Public Voice from Connected Places Catapult, a government-backed, non-profit innovation agency.
Polly Frayne
Polly Frayne
Polly manages our Reach and Connect service and our Social Prescribing Link Worker team, having previously worked as a Community Connector based with Mind in Haringey. Before joining Reach and Connect Polly worked with Disability Support for students and as a Dementia Adviser.
Lva Simms
Lva Simms
Lva is responsible for HR, day-to-day office management, health and safety, recruitment, policies and procedures, and provides the CEO and Board with administration and governance support. Lva is an Associate of CIPD, with over 26 years business administration experience and in particular within HR for the last 14 years.
Emmanuel Benedetti
Emmanuel Benedetti
Emmanuel was previously Financial Controller for a London-based company with wholesale/retail outlets in the wine, beer, and spirit trade, covering all aspects of accounting. He also served as Finance Director for a private printing company based in Enfield, North London. In 2013, Emmanuel changed direction and started specialising in the charity sector and joined Public Voice in 2022.
Paul Addae
Paul Addae
Paul has been with Healthwatch Haringey since May 2023. He has extensive experience in health inequalities research, and has worked in a range of environments, including with young offenders, people with complex needs, and those with a range of managed long term care needs. Paul is passionate about capturing the experiences of seldom-heard communities in Haringey and the healthcare access challenges they face.

Gordon became Healthwatch Croydon Manager in April 2018 having previously lead Marketing and Communications for Healthwatch Croydon since 2015. He is a marketing communications professional with over 20 years’ experience working in higher education, medical and healthcare, international education and tourism.

Jano is a Partnership Manager at Public Voice with a background in Health and Social Care. She joined Public Voice for a new challenge and has completed a Level 3 Certificate in Project Management while finishing the Help to Grow program.

Eamonn oversees our strategic communications and manages our communications team. He’s an experienced business, communications and marketing professional and has worked and consulted in both the public and private sectors, with a career encompassing local government, education, the voluntary and community sector, hospitality and the creative industries.

Beth is Haringey Community Collaborative Manager, working across Public Voice CIC and Mind in Haringey. The Collaborative support Haringey’s voluntary and community sector (VCS), particularly grassroots organisations and under-served groups, to strengthen governance, grow fundraising channels, build capacity, and increase impact.

Fiona joined Public Voice as our Local Healthwatch Communications Manager in September 2025. Fiona has worked in both the public and not-for-profit sectors. This includes communication roles in local and central government, charities and the NHS.
Anushka Shahrouz Tehrani
Anushka Shahrouz Tehrani
Anushka has been with Public Voice HWH since June 2023, managing signposting, enquiries, and projects, including HAP. She has extensive non-profit and academic experience in the UK and abroad, working with vulnerable people at organizations like the British Red Cross, Refugee Council, and Amnesty International.

Kate manages our Haringey Advice Partnership. She will be working closely with our partners Citizens Advice Haringey and Vibrance to deliver drop-in services, advice days and training events. Kate has over 17 years of experience of working in the community in Haringey.

Gary leads our Neighbourhoods’ Team which provides independent resident advisers to estates undergoing major regeneration works. Prior to joining Public Voice in 2017, he worked for over 30 years in housing holding senior and executive posts in local government, the voluntary and private sectors.

Tanya supports our Healthwatch Haringey team with engagement and communications activities, working with Patient Participation Groups and GP practices, running the Haringey PPG Network and supporting patient representatives.

Ashley Grey
Ashley is a Community Connector with our Reach and Connect project, a service for over 50s in Haringey. Ashley has an arts background and has spent the past 40 years working in community development. She has held senior management posts in local government, the education sector and several arts and disability charities.

Paul works in Hornsey, Highgate, Stroud Green, and Crouch End. His background includes working as a Shared Reading Trainer at The Reader. He has also supported homeless individuals at St. Mungo’s. Reach and Connect aligns with his values of community and service, allowing him to utilise his skills for local benefit.

Alice is a Community Connector with our Reach and Connect project for over 50s in Haringey, bringing a background in hospitality, arts, illustration, magazine design, and printing. Alice also leads the Artful Codgers group in Bounds Green and is a trained Walk Leader planning summer walks.

Alessandra is a passionate and communicative Community Connector with a background in community care. With over 10 years of experience in aged care, she has developed strong skills in providing individuals with practical and emotional support.

Nick joined Haringey Reach and Connect in October 2022, having previously worked as a Community Connector in Islington with the British Red Cross (BRC). Nick’s background is in community development, where he spent several years working with local communities in South Africa and Costa Rica before moving to London.

Emily has been with Healthwatch Haringey since January 2024. With a background in historical, cultural and community research; she brings a fresh and creative mindset to the team. Emily is passionate about bringing light to the concerns of communities who are not always represented by census data.

Christine is currently the Social Prescriber for two surgeries within Primary Care Network East Central. She has over 25 years’ experience within the NHS, CIC and charity sectors.

Natika supports the Administration and HR function. In this time she has, as a volunteer, supported the Reach and Connect’s Artful Codgers art group, supported events and helped organised activities.

Kemi offers admin support to Public Voice. She started off as a volunteer for Public Voice during the pandemic, where she worked as a digital buddy helping people become digitally included.

Josh has worked as our Content and Communications Officer since 2023. He has seven years experience working in communications, having worked for a number of year in Higher Education. He specialises in audio-visual content, working as a director and screenwriter outside of work.

Ian Adams
Ian Adams
Ian has substantial board governance, policy and communications experience, working closely with national and local policymakers to create a fairer society to promote social justice. Ian has been employed by NHS Resolution, the legal arm of the NHS, since 2016, where today he is Director of Policy, Strategy and Communications, championing the involvement of patients and frontline staff in improving patient safety. Previous roles include Director of Communications and Patient and Public Engagement for NHS North West London Clinical Commissioning Groups.
Vasant Chari
Vasant Chari
Vasant directs the delivery of projects and programmes at Connected Places Catapult, the UK’s innovation agency for transport and the built environment. His focus is on those projects and programmes that deploy co-creation and human connected design methods. Previously, Vasant has held a number of policy roles in the UK Government, including leading the review of early years health provision in England & Wales. For two years, Vasant headed the UK government’s Policy Lab – a team that brings people-centred and experimental approaches to policymaking across government. Vasant is a trustee of a charity that works in equity in schools.

Machel is an experienced Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) professional, dedicated to fostering inclusive environments where diversity thrives as a core value. With a proven track record of enhancing organisational capacity to promote diversity and be inclusive. His experience includes working with a range of organisations from local authorities to national museums to develop and deliver policy and programmes. As a historian he explores figures who have been obscured and has worked with a range of organisations including UK Parliament to produce a range of materials for schools and public audiences.

Argentina Hung is a board-level leader with deep expertise in procurement and supply-chain, renowned for strategic decision-making, stakeholder influence and continuous improvement. As Non-Executive Director at Public Voice, she brings rigorous governance and a commitment to putting service-users at the centre, fostering inclusive insights, collaborative action and evidence-driven change.
Meerat Kaur
Meerat Kaur
Meerat’s work and research focuses on optimising how organisations and systems work with people and communities so that these partnerships add value and tackle inequalities. She has focused on amplifying the work and experiences of racialised and minoritised communities through almost 20 years’ leadership experience in regional, national and international organisations. This has led to designing programmes and establishing international collaborations in disaster management, civil and political rights and healthcare settings.
Shameem Sadiq-Tang
Shameem Sadiq-Tang
Shameem is an independent consultant who has worked in the international NGO and UK charities sector for over 20 years. Shameem now supports charities to manage change processes often in challenging people-centred areas, to review and strengthen their safeguarding structures and practice, and developed and implement programmes of work around lived experience participation activism.
