Healthwatch Croydon worked closely with the Rainbow Health Centre to interview and survey 58 vulnerable migrants from 24 countries, living in Croydon.
Report setting out the experiences of people living with sickle cell in Haringey and the challenges they face around accessing benefits and services. The research was commissioned by and delivered with the Haringey Advice Partnership.
As Haringey previously had one of the highest stillbirth rates in England, North Central London NHS asked Public Voice to look into inequalities in health and care provision through our Healthwatch Haringey service.
Throughout the year the Healthwatch Croydon team continued to focus on finding out about the experiences of Croydon residents and on bringing these to the attention of local and national health and care leaders in order to influence positive changes to improve people’s experiences. Healthwatch Haringey continues to chart the challenges for many people in accessing health and social care, focusing on the importance of research in understanding the unmet needs of patients.
